What is STACK?

STACK is a smarter way to spend, save, and share money – anytime, any place – with a mobile app or Prepaid Mastercard®. Also enjoy no foreign exchange fees and exclusive deals and promotions. Deals from places such as Tim Hortons, Amazon, Foodora, Starbucks and Hello Fresh.

STACK is not a credit card. And STACK won’t affect your credit score, but it will give you all of the online buying power of a credit card with the cash-only benefits of a debit card. With no foreign exchange fees, use it as your go to travel card. There are no commitments and no fees.

Reloading your card is easy. You can load funds to STACK with a Payroll Direct Load, Visa Debit, STACK-to-STACK transfer, or Interac e-Transfer.

If you are still not sure STACK MasterCard is right for you. Just sign up with the referral below and use the sign up bonus money to try it out. No need to load any funds until it runs out. So no risk. We are sure you will love it.

Both cards are equally great. However for traveling STACK is the winner. With no foreign exchange fees, you can load the card before you travel and withdraw at your destination and pay only the market rate plus the fee the foreign ATM charges. This is significantly less then the big banks who typically charge 2.5% to 3.5%

STACK also regularly puts out flash deals, like save $2 at Tim Hortons. (we went and purchased some timbits for $2.34, for a net cost of .34 cents). But there is no reason you can’t get both cards (KOHO is offering a 1% cash back bonus for 90 days to sign up), so feel free to sign up for both. Neither of them report to the credit bureaus, so they won’t affect your credit.

Refer your Friends and Family

The bonuses don’t stop there. STACK gives each user a unique referral web address; some people may refer to this as a STACK referral code that you can share. Tell your family and friends about STACK and share your referral code / link. Let them know how great the card is! And they can also get a few dollars in their pocket for trying it out.

To find your unique link. Log in to the STACK mobile app, click on your profile picture, and then “Invite Friends”.

Must click Sign Up button below to get the bonus.

The $5 will be deposited when you activate your card and fund a minimum of $300.

Summary

STACK Mastercard is our go-to travel card. Load up some cash before you travel and withdraw at your destination. With no foreign transaction fees and free ATM withdrawals, it makes getting foreign currency a breeze. Plus the benefits of not carrying more cash than we need. Combined with the mobile app is a huge plus.
We are happy more companies like STACK Mastercard and KOHO Visa are entering the market with some great features.
